  • Financial Statement on the Entity Exam Qualifying Party Name

Application Form

  • The take home exam is submitted with the license application to the Contractors' Licensing Board after passing the exams through PSI. Applications/Forms

Reciprocity

  • Alabama, Georgia (non-restricted), Mississippi, North Carolina (intermediate or unlimited), Pennsylvania (Reading, PA only), Tennessee (TE).

Exam Testing Company

  • Submit the exam registration form located in the Candidate Information Bulletin (CIB) to register for your Technical and Business Management/Law exams to PSI (800) 733-9267

Testing NEC Edition

  • 2020 NEC effective September 1, 2023

Exam Details

  • -Electrician Exam: 80 questions, 4 hours -Business Management/Law exam: 50 questions, 2 hours -S.C. Code of Law Take Home Exam (included in the application packet ) The SC Board will waive the technical examination for Master Electrical if an applicant passed these exams through the Municipal Association of South Carolina after 1990.
