Special Acknowledgements
First, I want to thank God for my life. I want to thank Him for even the most difficult of times, because this has helped me become a man that I hope honors Him in my actions. My loving Godly wife is always by my side, and there’s no question that I could not have achieved any of my success without her continued support. She is a selfless mother and wife. She made the difficult decision to stay at home and support her family; the successes of her husband and her children are God’s reward for her sacrifice. To my wonderful children, Belynda, Melissa, Autumn, Steven, Michael, Meghan, and Brittney—I love every moment we shared together (well, most moments). Thank you for loving me and knowing God.
I would like to thank all the people in my life that believed in me, and those who spurred me on. Thanks to the Electrical Construction & Maintenance (EC&M) magazine for my first “big break” in 1980, and Joe McPartland who helped and encouraged me from 1980 to 1992. Joe, I’ll never forget to help others as you’ve helped me. I would also like to thank Joe Salimando, the former publisher of the Electrical Contractor magazine produced by the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) for my second “big break” in 1995.
Mike Holt Enterprises Team Acknowledgments
There are many people who have played a role in the development and production of our products. I would like to start with Mike Culbreath, Master Electrician, who was with me for almost 30 years, helping me transform my words and thoughts into lifelike graphics. Mike has retired now, but his contribution to the state-of-the art educational graphics in our textbooks is unparalleled.

Many thanks go out to all those industry experts that sat with me on the panels for my video recordings that accompany each of my textbooks. They helped me bring the programs to life, and their years of experience added exceptional value to every program, making the learning experience the best in the industry. Bruce Marcho did an excellent job recording, editing and producing our DVDs for over 25 years. Now Bryan Morgan and his team have taken it to another level.
I would like to thank all of those employees who have contributed to the success of sharing my message and my vision with our customers. This company would not have grown and touched the lives of so many if it were not for all of you, your ideas, and your dedication to the industry and our work. Many of you have been with me for over 15 years and those of you who are new to our organization should know how much I appreciate each of you, and hope that you will become a part of the Mike Holt family for life.
And to my customers, we would be nowhere without you. We stay committed to providing the best products and services without compromise.
