This course highlights some of the requirements in the 2023 Florida Building Code contained in the 2020NEC relevant to electrical rules for Branch-Circuit, Feeder, and Service Calculations, Services, and Overvoltage Protection, and how they supplement or modify the requirements of the 2020 NEC The goal and objective of this program is to help the electrical contractor understand concepts in Article 220, 230, and 242 that apply to various load calculations and the installations of service disconnects and surge protective devices in dwellings and commercial occupancies. The overriding concern of these articles is for the student to recognize and apply the changes in specific sections of these articles and understand how they apply in field application.  The course will include page content and questions throughout the program.
