I liked the great explanations of the material. I take these courses every year and I am grateful for them. They are self paced, step by step, and not too much info at once. 

It covers the required continuing education at my own pace and schedule. Some days it isn't practical to have a set class time for this. It was a good refresher on basic electrical theory and math. It is something you don't do every day. I have a license in two states. This is the best way for me to get my CE requirements to maintain my licenses.

I liked the clarity of the explanation of each question's topic. Also being able to go back and review the questions. Great course and very user friendly.

2014 Changes to the NEC Part 1 is a great review of the most important changes in the NEC.

Author's comments were almost always great points on the subject at hand. 

I liked that my course provided a good overview of the NEC and the important sections that anyone interested in PV needs to understand.

I feel I know more about the NEC than I did before, and it was more in depth. Overall, the course was quite good. As a business owner, I am considering this as an upgrade requirement for my Supervisors in the field who usually do not take the time to update themselves since we work in a more rural state, and do not have the level of code inspection that is prevalent in some of the larger states and municipalities.

The ability to take this online course is convenient, practical, and beneficial for me. I generally prefer to go at my own pace as I like to immediately search out additional details for some of the items covered, and not miss out on something while I explore further, as I have had happen in a classroom environment. This helps me absorb the information much better. Thank you.

I like that the course covers bonding and grounding as it applies to each section of the NEC.  Good way to do it.  Makes organization somewhat logical.

I like the detailed author's notes that make the changes easy to understand.

The different colors, fonts, and graphics allow for easy reading and understanding.  

The illustrations were nice. Also, the personal takes from Mike Holt on the Codes were a nice change from the cut and dry; here are the changes. I  liked that I actually used a code book. Some of the other CEU classes simply do not challenge you at all. 

I was able to learn quickly. It didn't feel like 8 hours.

 

What I liked best were the helpful graphics and the analysis of why rules are generated.

The 2014 Code Changes Part 1 was very informative and practical for applying to everyday use for the electrician in his field of work, be it contractor or estimator or electrician in the field.

The Business Management course was great at making me think of different situations and how to react accordingly.

I like the fact that, even though it seems lengthy compared to other code update courses, it is also the most comprehensive course I've used.

The 2014 Review of NEC Changes online course has very detailed slides with pictures and excerpts from the code book.  It was the best one I have taken yet!

I liked how the 2014 Code Changes Part 1 fully explained each code change in detail. I used Mike Holt material to study for my journeyman's exam many years ago and passed with a 96%. I fully believe in the materials and courses he offers. I have never failed any exam when using Mike Holt material properly.

I could work on my online course when I was able to. It also had an easy log in with a great flow and structure. 

The best part of the online course was that I was able to stop or log out and take a break to stretch my legs. It covered the majority of the changes made to the NEC especially the important ones.

Just finished the Mikey's & crew online CEU classes for my out of State licenses. Very thorough, and made the relevant parts of the 2014 Code Handbook easier to understand.  I appreciated the self-pace, and noticed your course "auto-saves" intermediate results in case of equipment or network crash.

The Business Management 2 online course had several good points about business operations.

The 2014 Code Changes Part 1 is a very typical Mike Holt product, outstanding in every way. In this day and age I know of no better bang for your buck. Mike continues to be a major force in the electrical education field.

The convenience of completing the course when it fits my schedule is great.  The flexibility and ability to access the course from any location that has an internet connection is really fantastic, too.  I did not feel that I was cramming a bunch of information in my brain in a short amount of time; I think by learning at a slower, steadier pace, I was able to retain more of the information.  I also think more of the NEC was covered in this program due to there not being strict time restraints often seen in seminars/classes when they try to cover as much as they can in a given amount if time.

The course was easy to follow the changes. I have looked at several other sites and did not like them because they were hard to manuever through. This course was easy to follow.

The Electrical Fundamentals and Basic Electricity online was simple because it hits the basics from when I first started in the trades but a great refresher for the little things that aren't seen or used everyday.This course is a nice easy refresher before starting more in depth CEUs.

Your courses get better every time I use them. They are extremely intuitive and easy to use and I like that I can do them at my own pace. Great job!

I can start when I have the time to concentrate and stop when tired, then resume another day. I learn more with Mike Holt's course than sitting in a group lecture. Mike Holt's program forces me to learn the material covered, if I try to hurry through the text, when I get to the questions I find I need to go back and reread the subject matter, forcing me to learn the code. I also find myself pulling out my code book when I come across a topic I thought I knew. Very Good Course Mike, Thank You!

The 2014 Virginia Code Changes course explained the articles in a way easy to understand and that is what I liked best.

What I liked best about the 2014 Code Changes Part 2 Online Course was th quality of presentation, information and knowledge. I learned a lot and reinforced things I did know.

The assessments assisted in explaining in detail the code requirements in the 2014 Code Changes Part 1 Course. It was very informative and worth the cost to obtain CEU's.

The presentation of the NEC code changes and the relevant questions after each section is what I liked best about the 2014 Code Changes Part 1. I have actually learned more by this method then attending previous classroom code updates.
