A Tribute: September 11, 2001

It has been 23 years, but we must never forget. Let us take a moment of silence in honor and remembrance of all of those who lost their lives, for their families, and for those first responders and individuals who came together in a heroic effort to save others.

I have forgiven those that have hurt so many, but I'll never forget those that have given everything. I love the United States of America and I'm honored and proud to be an American. Every time I watch this video I get a knot in my stomach and tears in my eyes; it just hurts a lot...

I hate that I've never yet made the trip to Shanksville, PA to pay tribute to the heroes of Flight 93. They died with their boots on and saved a lot of lives on the ground.
