July 4 - Independence Day
From 1776 to the present day, July 4th has been celebrated as the birth of American independence.

Enjoy the festivities as you honor the spirit of our nation. Remember, fireworks and cookouts could pose fire hazards and electrical risks. Keep a safe distance from fireworks and do not attempt to modify or tamper with them in any way. We encourage you to prioritize safety during this time and share the importance with your friends and family.

Factoid. Did you know that there were two signers of the Declaration of Independence that died on Independence day in 1826? Thomas Jefferson and John Adams died on July 4, 1826, the 50th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence...
