Wherever you live, here in the US or abroad, Mike's wife Linda would love a piece of it! She's collecting sand from all over the world (from lakes, oceans, rivers, deserts).

So if you have access to sand from a lake, beach, river or desert, please send a sample for Linda (1/2 cup, or about 150 grams). Include a note with your name and where the sand was collected. If you'd like, send a photograph of you collecting the sand, and include the story surrounding it. You don't need to send it in a container - use a sealable plastic bag if you prefer.
