Hi Mike, re: the AFCI breakers , I'm here in Ohio, new home built 2003, code was to have the AFCI breaker in bedrooms. Shortly after I moved in Oct./Dec. 2003. my treadmill in my bedroom "blew" ... This was in the evening, the treadmill plugged in, not on. This was a loud noise with "smoke" from motor, blew out the garage door, all appliances, heater. the builder said it was a "power outage", not responsible, I disagreed with that but did alot of research, spoke with Sqare D. with my many calls, etc. Squard D agreed to pay for all losses, paid back insurance company, Square D did help me but never claimed it was the AFCI but I realize it was .. Any questions let me know, I have a big file on this problem. thanks, lindasabori@hotmail.com Linda Sabori
