  • As far as I can tell, Idaho requiring a Masters in order to become a contractor is a load of crap! Looks to me we are just tying to protect contractors from compitition. I know many who may not test well that are and or will be great contractors, but seeing how you now must be a MASTER Elec. very few if any contractors will be created in Idaho. Our instructor from NIC said it was one of the hardest test he had ever taken? Im not able to take it for three more years, Im hoping Idaho elec. board pulls there heads out of there ##$%'s and allows hard working elec. workers have a chance to become more than a servant to some one else. Am I the only one that thinks geeting a Master Lic. in order to be a contractor is a SCAM? thanks for your time.
