Helping the Little Guy – Drywall Protector Plate

Dear Newsletter Friend,

image1I was approached by Mr. Dan Groot about his drywall protector plate.

I generally do not promote products (except my own!) via my newsletter, but if I can help the 'little guy' I will. Dan good luck and God Bless.

About the Drywall Protector Plate

The Drywall Protector Plate™ temporarily locks on and protects the work hole and surrounding areas from costly paint and drywall damage when pulling wire, flex conduit, fiberglass rods, and flexible drill shafts.

This product is designed to reduce the possibility of snagging materials or tools as they glide through the opening. This product works great with wire/cable spool racks and carts!

Self lubricating bearings are actually made out of the same material as the drywall protector plate. To test, a flexible drill shaft was placed on the plate, pressure was applied and the shaft was rotated with a drill motor on high for 10 minutes in the same spot. The shaft didn't mar the spot at all.

The plate or tabs will not shatter or break on impact, even at -15 degrees Fahrenheit! This product is designed for 1/2” and 5/8” drywall. To use on 3/8” drywall, tape cardboard spacers on the back of the locking tabs. Each plate comes with a 6 mill resealable storage bag to store the plate and locking tabs.

  • Mike, this guy has a good product. I'm glad you made us aware of it. Please continue the practice. It really is of great help to those who do the actual work. The person the domestic workman fears most is the enraged house wife. If an electrician messes up her wall he is going to wish he picked another business. This is a much needed product.
