  • I installed a 30amp circuit for an arc welder that can draw a continous 19.25 amps. The problem is that the welder is wired(from the factory) for 120v with a standard 120v 3 prong plug. Everywhere and everyone I asked never heard of a 120v receptacle rated for 30 Amps. Also since the receptacle is outside the basement, do I need a GFCI receptacle which does not seem to come in 30amp either. I am lost on this one. Thanks for any help.

  • Your artical about voltage in the ground. It was also about voltage in the water around docks. Unfortunatly I didn't save that one. Could you repete it or send me that one again. PS I took your course in 1978 and passed my Master exam at the age of 24. Thanks
