Power & Grounding – a Free Day of Education

Image1Middle Atlantic Products is presenting a free day of education on Power & Grounding, including Integrating Electronic Equipment and Power into Rack Enclosures. 

Scheduled for November 9th in Los Angeles, CA, this free, comprehensive one-day seminar will focus on proven methods of designing and troubleshooting power and grounding systems for audiovisual installations, and addresses signal-interface noise mechanisms related to induction and capacitive coupling and their respective management.  Also addressed is the subject of isolated grounding schemes, and why they may cause more problems than they are intended to fix.   

Featuring numerous live demonstrations, the event is ideal for electricians or electrical engineers, AV system engineers, technicians, and designers or consultants interested in design and troubleshooting of power and grounding systems.

Middle Atlantic Founder & Chief Engineer Bob Schluter will be leading the crew with special guest presenter Bill Whitlock, President and Chief Engineer of Jensen Transformers.

  • I personally know three of the four presenters and am well familiar with their materials. This will be an excellent day of education. I don't work for any of them, neither do I profit from their products, so I have no personal interests here - other than being jealous that I can't attend this time!

  • What standards apply when installing Christmas electrical adornments on house windows. Most users of them raise / lift up the lower window pane, slide over the lower edge the thin and flexible electrical cord and then bring down again the raised pane to close the window while pressing up or squeezing the flexible cord which might be cut or its safety rubber isolating material damaged creating the risk of electrocution.
