  • Take a few minutes today and reflect on how the lives of others are effected by our actions, wether they are supportive or condeming the war, our soldiers are doing their jobs with the ultimate sacrifice on the kine! God bless them all and protect them each and everyone, as they are all someones son, daughter, brother, sister, cousin, ect... they each represent us all! Eddie

  • Speaking as a veteran myself, this is important for all military members as they need your acceptance, love and support especially during war times but also during peace times. Thanks Mike for broadcasting your most honorable plan to set aside some time to raise them up in prayer.

  • The comment from SEABEE Freeman reminded me....

There should be some kind of forum, for the kids returning to the workforce after their military service. The other day, one of my company's distributors mentioned that he was having a hard time finding someone with a technical background to hire. I thought, what if there was some kind of register for young ex- service people to post in.

I strongly urge all the "kids" to keep your own personal record of your accomplishments, training, evaluations, etc. and take them with you when you get out.

The Veterans deserve our support, always.

    Thank you.

  • First of all Thank you for caring about Veterans. I have never heard of anyone shutting down there bussiness for any length of time espicaly two minuets to remember Veterans. Wish more people cared. I really love your web site and the form I received a private E-Mail for a form member that I don't know and for Veterans Day he said Semper Fi. I think your form has some of the best people in the country that care about others and the Electrical Industry. Thanks again for all you do and happy Veterans day to you and your staff also. • Mike, Thank you for all you do for your fellow man. My father went to Nam 3 times, My younger brother is E.O.D. and has been to the Desert 3 times now and will probably have to go again. I never joined the service having been raised in it, but I wish many times I had joined. Instead I have been an electrician for 35 years, I am State LIc. in Ga. Non-retricted. I had a bad motorcycle wreck 3 years ago, lost everything as I was unable to work for 15 months. I am now doing estimating and project managment, I have really been wanting your estimating kit to further my knowledge in this area, I just have not been able to afford it yet as I am still trying to get on my feet after the wreck. Maybe soon I will get the set. I did meet you once @ 1989 or 90 in Atlanta Ga. at the Big Electrical Expo they have there. I remember your words of encouragement to me then. God bless you, God bless America, God bless our soldiers, and God Bless us all! Your Brother in Christ, Eddie Davis

  • It's just too bad that it is not an automatic holiday for the veterans themselves!

I work with a few and they have to take a personal day to honor themselves... :-(

  • Thanks for the link Mike, it was moving. Thank you for remembering us on 11/12. What we like to do at our veterans post on is to have an 11 - 11 -11 toast (non-alchololic), the 11th day of the 11th month at the 11th hour (WW1 armistis signed) we toast the memory of all veterans past and present and we thank God for his devine guidence of our country and ask that he keeps us strong.
