You must connect your knowledge with your students' needs, and they must realize that
what you're saying will work for them. If there are any gaps in your knowledge or if you
lack confidence in the training material, you'll find it more difficult to accomplish this.
Be sure you're totally prepared.
- Prepare yourself both physically and mentally.
- Make a plan that allows you to get the class preparation work done in time, and in a way which preserves your sanity and health.
- Create a checklist of all the supplies you'll need for the class.
- Marketing the class with flyers, confirmation letters and handouts will clearly describe how students will benefit from the program.
