| 5 of 20: The Student - Learning Styles
|
Learning Styles are different approaches to learning, and not all students learn the same way. In order to be an effective instructor, you need to be able to know and recognize how your students learn. There are essentially three basis styles:
- Visual Learners (65%)
- Auditory Learners (30%)
- Tactile/Kinesthetic Learners (5%)
Understanding these learning styles is beneficial to an instructor, who will then be able to tailor the contents of a class to consider students' weaknesses, and capitalize on their strengths, creating a much better learning experience.
