Mike Holt’s Desktop Background

We’ve been working on a desktop background to offer as a free resource on our website to anyone who would like to use it. We’d like you to give it a try and let us know what you think. We’ve created three versions to fit most computer screens. To find out which size you need right click on your desktop and go to properties, then settings – you should see one of the sizes listed below. Once you’ve figured out which one you need, in order to set this as your desktop background simply click on the link below to open the image, right click on the image and choose “set as desktop background”.

Mike Holt Desktop Background – 1280

Mike Holt Desktop Background – 1024

Mike Holt Desktop Background – 800

If you have any suggestions to improve this please let us know.

  • A version for a wide screen would be nice. My resolution of 1680 x 1050 gives it quite a stretched out / distorted appearance.

  • Mike and staff, I appreciate the free desktop wallpaper and compliment all those behind the scene persons that brought this together. It will look great on the smart board in my classes for the apprenticeship program here in Arkansas, as well as the classes in Texas. Thanks to all for this and everything else you and yours do for those of us in the field and classrooms.

    Sincerely,

    Don C.

  • Nice job Mike, but since I have a shot of me and family at Disney for a desktop, I am going to pass. I know you will excuse me for that one.

  • It would be great if your desktop background would have useful links to formulas and other important and helpful information, i.e. transformer formulas/information,motors, cableling etc.

  • Mike, This is a great idea. However, I would love to see you expand it with a few more usefull items such as, transformer data, wire and conduit fill data, motor data, and perhaps some general additional formulas (all info on the right hand side so the icons don't cover it). Thanks.

  • Thanks for the desktop, a little background on it please - it sure looks like Point State Park in Pittsburgh. Thought you were down in Floridia?

Appreciate your website, the information to help educate and inform and most of all your boldness to be unshamed to stand for the Lord.

    Thanks

  • I tried your desktop. I did not like it because it only takes up half the screen and I cannot get rid of it. Please help as I am not a happy camper about this.
