Mike Holt Enterprises Understanding the NEC

Keeping up with the requirements of the Code should be the goal of everyone involved in electrical safety. The following is what I feel is an important rule in the 2020 NEC®, complete with graphics and a video. I encourage you to use it as a training resource for your organization, and share it with your colleagues.

Do you know what a high-impedance grounded ac system is, and what loads it can serve? These systems are generally used where sudden interruption of power will create increased hazards, or when a reduction of incident energy is needed to protect workers.

Read the attached text, then join Mike and the video team as they discuss NEC Section 250.36 and the basics of high-impedance grounded ac systems. Download the PDF to follow along with the video.
