250.126 Identification of Wiring Device Terminals.

The terminal for the equipment grounding (bonding) conductor must be a:

(1) Green screw, hexagonal head, and not readily removable. Figure 250–175

(2) Green nut, hexagonal head, and not readily removable.

(3) Green pressure wire connector. If the terminal for the equipment grounding (bonding) conductor isn’t visible, the conductor entrance hole must be marked with the word green or ground, the letters G or GR, a grounding (earthing) symbol, or otherwise identified by a distinctive green color.
