North Carolina Electrical Institute

This year at the 90th Annual Meeting, the Institute will feature an Electrical Code Workshop that consists of a panel of nationally recognized Code experts, including Mike Holt, responding to questions submitted from interested parties throughout the State. The panel will be moderated by Joseph Starling and assistants, all of whom are State Electrical Inspectors.
The Institute is an educational program made possible by the NC Ellis Cannady Chapter of the IAEI, the State Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors, and the NC Department of Insurance, Office of State Fire Marshal.The objectives of the Electrical Institute are to establish consistent application of electrical construction standards and practices to promote uniformity and public safety. Last year over 700 contractors, inspectors, engineers, suppliers, distributors, manufacturers, testing agencies and industry representatives attended the Institute’s 89th Annual Meeting.
