Before mass today, My wife and I offered up those who died that day as well as those who have died since or suffer mental and physical illnesses as a result of the tragedy.
We have our flag up and will burn a candle this evening for a few hours as we gather with friends.
Thank you for helping people remember those who lost so much more than some of us can comprehend.
When I am called to duty, God

Thank you so very much for the 9/11 Tribute. I will never forget that day,
the shock, sadness, horror, anxiety and then the anger. We
lost so very much and unfortunately, due to the dust and toxic
fumes, we are losing more first responders, good Samaritans
and citizens who are experiencing severe health issues.
Never Forget.
I took a few moments to review some video the 9/11 events. It's hard to believe it's been 17 years. As I watched the towers burn and eventually collapse my rage was instant, the pain still fresh.
Mike, in quiet rememberance I have viewed this video. I am still moved by the bravery and unending sacrifice these men and woman have given unconditionally. May I live my life in such a way to always reflect such unconditional love.
