I would like to see Mike H publish a paper on sizing primary & secondary conductors and OCPD's for dry-type transformers, taking into account the following: 1. Whether the code requires these calcs to be made using transformer full rated load current or whether (lower) actual load current can be used. 2. How to size the primary conductors and primary OCPD to allow for transformer magnetizing inrush (energizing current). Thank you. I see some confusion in the trade on these issues.
