Well, there was a time that I wrote everything I needed to do on a list. One day while I was at my pscologist's office I told him how stressed I was because I had this long list of things to do, and it got longer each day. The list was growing into pages, and I was accomplishing things but couldn't keep up with it. His advice was to stop making lists which I did, and that didn't work because then I would forget everything I needed to accomplish. People were not happy with me thus more stress.
