Largest Electrical Blackout in History

Image

India just experienced the largest electrical blackout in history encompassing roughly 10 percent of the world's population. It is in times like these that we are reminded just how much electricity affects our lives and how important our industry truly is. We all depend on electricity and the electrical professionals that keep it working for us. The recent outages in VA, WV, MD, and Washington DC are another example and the tireless effort put forth to renew power to all effected in times like these should be commended. Those of us in FL are reminded of how hard it is to function after a hurricane when power is out for days.

You should all be proud to be a part of a field that is so vital to the lives of everyone. Our lives move forward because of the work you do.
