License Renewal CEU Requirements

North Carolina Electrical Continuing Education Required: The NC Board has required that at least 50% of the required continuing education hours are earned in a live, instructor-led class. You need 8 hours to renew your license, 4 hours can be taken online and the other 4 hours must be classroom hours.

PLEASE NOTE: You can take more than one course listed below, and apply the extra hours to future years, but you must earn 4 hours in an approved classroom format course every year.

North Carolina Electrical License Renewal: North Carolina licensees must renew every year by their renewal date. Verify which date you renew on directly with the board. You can renew your license on the Board website.
