License Renewal & CEU Requirements

License Renewal CEU Requirements Michigan Electrical Continuing Education Required: Each licensee is required to complete an approved 15-Hour Code Update course within 1 year of Michigan adopting the new version of the National Electrical Code.

Current Code: 2023 NEC, effective 3/12/2024

Michigan Electrical License Renewal: Journey and master electrician licenses expire December 31st, every year. You can renew your license on the Michigan Board website.

As required by Michigan, we will submit your CE hours directly to CEbroker automatically. State submissions are completed on Thursday.
