I think large stroage battery installations are too often disregarded as a safety hazard because the voltages are relatively low and the buss bars are uninsulated and exposed. As a matter of fact and accident such as grounding out one these buss bars can cause a flash burn of 1000 amps or more which would of course cause a horrible injury.
